Important Instructions
Stage 1: New User Registration
Enter all the relevant details carefully.
A password will be sent from VIT to your registered
e-mail id.
Once registered with an email address, it cannot be edited or changed. Hence, ensure an active current email address is given and the credentials are stored for future access.
All the communications will be sent to your registered e-mail id.
Request for change of e-mail id will not be entertained under any circumstances
.
Stage 2: Confirmation of password
Login to registered users with the email id and password received from VIT. Kindly store the credentials safely for future correspondence.
Stage 3: Filling Online application form
Provide all relevant details carefully, before submission.
An application number will be generated after completion.
Refer your application number for all your future correspondence.
Stage 4: Photo Upload
Photograph Size should be between 10kB to 200 kB with the dimension of 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm.
Selfie photo is also allowed.
Stage 5: Documents Upload
Proof of Age & Nationality (Passport/Birth Certificate).
11th grade marksheet/AS Level/Form V(for appearing candidates) & 12th grade mark sheet/A Level/Form VI (for passed out candidates).
Visa/Resident Card authenticating NRI status of parent.
Employer certificate / Sponsorship Letter (Optional at the time of application).
Stage 6: Download Application
The application will be available for download after completion.
Eligibility
Indian students whose parents work abroad.
Non-Resident Indians whose parents work abroad with valid work visa.
Applicants applying for UG Engineering admission should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2023, in any one of the following qualifying examinations:
The final examination of the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE),New Delhi.
Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. (Physics & Mathematics - HL, Chemistry - SL)
General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
Regular 'NIOS' board candidates are also eligible for Undergraduate Engineering programmes. Applicants should produce the Migration Cum Transfer Certificate at the time of joining
Applicants who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India or from a Board not specified above should produce a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination with grade/CGPA converted to percentage.
To be eligible for all B. Tech. programmes, applicants should have advanced level Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with an average equal to or more than 60%.
Applicants without Maths but with Advanced Level of Physics, Chemistry and Biology will be eligible for the following B.Tech. courses only.

B.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering (Biomedical Engineering - VIT, Vellore)
B.Tech. Bioengineering (VIT-Bhopal)
B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (Specialization in Health Informatics - VIT, Bhopal)
