About the programme

2+2 Collaborative Degree Program: Partnership between VIT (India) and Binghamton University (USA). It is a Global Education Pathway.
Bachelor's Degree: Students can earn a BBA (Financial Analytics) from Vellore Institute of Technology, India or BS in Business Administration/ BS in Accounting from Binghamton University. USA.
Binghamton University's SoM: Degree awarded by Binghamton's School of Management.
Study Duration: Two years at VITBS, followed by two years at Binghamton University.
International Degree: Degree from a top-ranked US public university (Binghamton).
Cultural and Academic Exchange: Cross-cultural learning, global networking, and access to international resources.
Seamless Credit Transfer: VIT courses are designed to align with Binghamton's curriculum.

Application Process

New User Registration

Once OTP is validated, a password will be sent to your registered email address.

Filling online Application Form

Fill in the relevant fields carefully. An Application Number will be generated after filling primary details.
Refer this application number in all your future correspondence.

Payment

Payment cost of Rs.1150/- should be paid through Netbanking/Credit card/Debit card/Paytm.
Application cost is non-refundable.

Photo and Signature upload

The photograph must be in color and should be taken professionally in a studio with the following specifications:

The photograph must be taken against a light background. Only White/off-white background is preferred.
The photograph must show the full frontal view without tilting of face, both ears visible, open eyes with neutral expression.
Make sure there is no glare from spectacles and no blur in the focus.
The file should be only in JPEG format.
The file size of the photograph should be within 20 kB to 300 kB.
The photograph dimension should be of Width(300 to 400 pixels) X Height (400 to 550 pixels).
The photograph should not be too dark or too bright but should have optimum exposure.
The photograph should have only one face.

Signature uploading procedure:

Please draw a rectangular box of size 6 cm (width) X 2 cm (height) on a A4 white paper. Sign with dark blue or black pen within the box.
Scan the signature in (.jpeg) format using scanner and crop the image.
You can open the scanned signature image with MS Paint and crop the image at the particular rectangular box which was already marked and signed on the A4 white paper.
While cropping the image make sure that the dimension should be 3.5 cm (width) X 1.5 cm (height).
The scanned signature image size should be within 5kB to 150 kB.

Admission Process

Eligibility

For First 2 Years (At VIT BS):

Minimum 80% in 10th and 12th grades (Mathematics is mandatory in 12th).
Must clear Personal Interview.

For Next 2 Years (At Binghamton University SoM):

Cumulative GPA of 8/10 at VIT.
Proof of English Proficiency as per International Standards.
Submission of official transcripts and admission application.

Guidelines & Regulations for Students Continuing at VIT after Two Years

Students opting to continue at VIT after two years instead of transferring must:

Complete the remaining two years at VIT under the same curriculum.
Maintain the minimum required CGPA for progression.
Follow the academic and disciplinary regulations set by the University.
Internship and placement opportunities will be provided by VIT's career services.

Selection Criteria

Admission will be based on the 10th/12th board marks.
Seat allotment is based on the candidate's rank and seat availability.
Information regarding seat allotment, instructions for admission fee payment, and downloading the allotment letter will be communicated to the candidates through the counselling portal.
Provisional admission is subject to cancellation at any point of time if the candidate fails to fulfil the eligibility requirements.
Qualifying and being called for counseling do not guarantee admission. Admission is based on the candidate's rank and seat availability.

Years 3 & 4 (Abroad): $ 15,225 per semester

Additional charges apply for the hostel, travel, and other facilities. Scholarships are available based on academic performance (for candidates scoring above 90% in the 12th Board exam)
