Login as a registered user with the email id and password received from VIT.

Filling Online application form

Provide all relevant details carefully, before submission.

An application number will be generated after completion.

Refer to your application number for all future correspondence.

Application fee of USD 50 (Non Refundable) to be paid.

Photo Upload

The photograph must be taken against a light background. Only White/off-white background is preferred.

The photograph must show the full frontal view without tilting of face, both ears visible, open eyes with neutral expression.

Make sure there is no glare from spectacles and no blur in the focus.

The file should be only in (.jpeg or .jpg) format.

The file size of the photograph should be within 20 kB to 300 kB.

The photograph dimension should be of Width(300 to 400 pixels) X Height (400 to 550 pixels).

The photograph should not be too dark or too bright but should have optimum exposure.

The photograph should have only one face.

Admission Process

General Eligibility

Indian National students whose parents are employed outside India.

Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2006.


Qualifying Eligibility

English as one of the subjects in the qualifying Examination.

Candidates must have completed 12 years of schooling (equivalent to 10+2) and must have studied the specific subject(s) required by the programme as compulsory subjects.


Qualifying Board Eligibility

GCE examination of UK (British Examining Bodies) with Higher grades in five subjects at the Ordinary level (O) level and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology at the Advanced level (A level).

High School Certificate Examination, University of Cambridge local examinations, Syndicate, UK / Pearson Edexcel regulated by UK.

International Baccalaureate Examination of Geneva.

High School Diploma awarded by the accredited institutions of USA.

12 years High School - Grade 12 pass from the accredited institutions of Canada.

12 years High School Graduation / Diploma / Certificate of an approved Board Schools of China, Thailand, Indonesia, Bhutan, Syria, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, UAE and other Gulf Countries.

12 years Secondary Stage qualifications of National Examination Board / Council of Ministry of Education of Kenya, Nigeria, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda.

High School Certificate HSC and Cambridge School Certificate A level from the accredited institutions of Mauritius.


Applicants who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India or from a Board not specified above should produce a certificate from University Grants Commission (UGC) to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination with grade/CGPA converted to percentage.

Selection Criteria


Scrutinizing the submitted application form and all attached documents for eligibility and authenticity.

Shortlisting is based on merit (marks/grades in the qualifying exam 10+2 or its equivalent) and preferences.

Eligible students receive a provisional admission letter on a 'First-come, First-served' basis.

The candidate must pay the tuition fee (USD) and hostel fee (USD) as per the provisional letter.

Provisional admission is subject to cancellation at any point of time, if the candidate fails to fulfill the eligibility requirements.

Frequently Asked Question

  • If you are an Indian student whose parents (either father or mother ONLY) are currently working abroad with a valid work VISA, you will be considered for NRI admissions.

  • There is no entrance examination for admission to UG (BCA, B.Com., BBA, B.Sc.) programmes under the NRI category. Admission is based on the 10+2 marks and other required documents.

The specific criteria vary by programme and require:

  • Completion of 12 years of schooling (equivalent to the 10+2 system of Indian Education).
  • Subject-specific requirements and minimum overall eligible aggregate of requirements based on the programme.

  • No. For candidates applying under the NRI category, the sponsorship must be provided ONLY by the parent (either father or mother) who is living and working abroad. Sponsorship by a relative or friend is not acceptable.
